First Visit

 Southern Maine Endodontics has worked hard to create a warm, welcoming environment. As you walk through our office, you will notice that everything is clean, and comfortable.

We understand that many patients may be anxious about their treatment. At our office, we do everything we can to make sure that your experience is as enjoyable as possible. Dr. Cote, Dr. Thomas and Dr. Garoufalis communicate clearly what you can expect during every aspect of your care, and will answer any questions you may have. We encourage you to bring headphones and music to listen to during your appointment.

Your initial visit will consist of a thorough endodontic examination, and an explanation of your diagnosis and treatment options. Usually, treatment can be completed the same day. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan may require a second appointment. Our primary goal is to relieve any discomfort as soon as possible.

To help us serve you, please provide the following:

• List of all current medications, including over-the-counter and herbal medications.
• Current dental insurance information
• If 18 years of age or younger, the patient must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to provide consent to treatment.
• Interpreter if needed.
