Meet Dr. Flynn

Dr. Rich Flynn earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with high honors from Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2017. Following graduation, he served as an officer in the United States Navy, where he practiced general dentistry for six years and gained extensive experience in both clinical care and leadership.

In 2022, Dr. Flynn pursued advanced specialty training in endodontics at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He completed his residency in 2024, earning a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD). With over eight years of combined experience in private practice and military dentistry, Dr. Flynn brings a comprehensive and disciplined approach to patient care. He has been practicing endodontics in Maine for the past two years.

Dr. Flynn is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Maine Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, and the American Dental Association. Originally from the South Shore of Massachusetts, he began his academic journey at Providence College in Rhode Island before pursuing his dental education in Boston.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Flynn enjoys spending time with his wife, Joy, and their two young daughters. As a family, they love beach days, exploring local ice cream spots, and trips to the playground. They also enjoy traveling, often visiting San Diego for surf trips or returning to Massachusetts to spend time with family.
