C.J. Thomas, DMD
Meet Dr. Thomas
Dr. Thomas has now entered his 19th year as a practicing endodontist, with the last eight here in the state of Maine. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Dr. Thomas graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, graduating summa cum laude in 2004. Following graduation, Dr. Thomas completed a year-long General Practice Residency, through Harvard University, at Brigham and Women’s and Massachusetts General Hospitals. He then returned to Tufts to complete his Endodontic Residency in 2007.
In addition to practicing endodontics, Dr. Thomas has been involved in the Greater Concord Dental Society, serving four years on the Executive Board and three years as their Trustee for the New Hampshire Dental Society. Additionally, he has served as the York County representative on the board of the Maine Dental Association, as well as several years as president of the York County Dental Society. He has also been recognized every year as a “Top Dentist” since 2010.
Dr. Thomas has been married to his wife, Sarah, for almost 24 years. With their daughter, they enjoy all the benefits of living in Maine. In their spare time, the Thomas family enjoys outdoor walks, spending time at their small cottage in the midcoast, and catching musicals in Ogunquit and Portsmouth.
Dr. Thomas previously worked alongside both Dr. Cote and Dr. Garoufalis in Concord, NH. In addition to Dr. Flynn, the four have similar philosophies in their approach to patient-centered care and endodontic excellence. He is honored to be a part of the Maine dental community and looks forward to continuing to treat patients with compassion and expertise that years of private practice have provided.
