Meet Dr. Cote

Dr. LeeAnn M. Cote has practiced dentistry and Endodontics for sixteen years. Dr. Cote is a native to Lyman, Maine and is proud to serve the people of her home state. After residency she entered full time private practice in New Hampshire before moving back to Maine and establishing Southern Maine Endodontics. While in New Hampshire, Dr. Cote served in the capacity of multiple offices for the Concord Dental Society. Here is Maine, Dr. Cote has served as President of the York County Dental Society for three years from 2017- 2020. Dr. Cote has also had the privilege to serve on the Maine Dental Association Board of Directors for the Southern District.

Dr. Cote attended the University of New England where she attained her Bachelor’s of Medical Biology, with honors, in 2003. Dr. Cote received her dental degree in Boston at Tufts University, graduating with honors, in 2007. She has been awarded the Lester P Goldsmith Prize in Endodontics. Dr. Cote was certified in endodontics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. While in Nebraska Dr. Cote received technologically advanced training in endodontics, while exploring the culture of the great mid-west!! 

Dr. Cote understands most patients are anxious about root canal therapy that’s why she is committed to a patient centered approach and thorough communication during all phases of micro-endodontic treatment. Dr. Cote emphasizes comprehensive endodontic examination, and discusses all aspects of non-surgical and surgical treatment to ensure each patient is well informed. She enjoys helping patients understand their care and their choices so that each individual is comfortable, and happy moving forward. 

Dr. Cote is a member of the Maine Dental Association, York County Dental Society, American Association of Endodontics, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Cote and her husband Michael live in Waterboro, Maine with their two dogs. Together they enjoy gardening, boating, downhill skiing, and studying Franco-American history.
