Dr. LeeAnn M. Cote

Meet Dr. Cote

Dr. LeeAnn M. Cote founded Southern Maine Endodontics in late summer of 2017. For almost two decades, she has practiced dentistry and Endodontics. As a native of Lyman, Maine, Dr. Cote is proud to serve the people of her home state.

Dr. Cote understands most patients are anxious and reserved about root canal therapy. For that reason, she is committed to a patient centered approach, providing thorough communication during all phases of micro-endodontic treatment. Dr. Cote emphasizes comprehensive endodontic examination and discusses all aspects of non-surgical and surgical treatment to ensure each patient is well informed. She enjoys helping each patient understand their care and their choices, so that they are comfortable, and happy moving forward.

Dr. Cote attended the University of New England, where she attained her Bachelor of Medical Biology degree, with high honors, in 2003. Dr. Cote continued her pursuit of learning, receiving her dental degree from Tufts University in Boston, graduating with high honors in 2007. For her excellence, high academic achievement, and proficiency in the study and practice of endodontics, Dr. Cote was awarded the Lester P. Goldsmith Prize in Endodontics. Dr. Cote was also certified in endodontic treatment by the University of Nebraska Medical Center. While in Nebraska, she received advanced, state-of-the-art training in endodontics, all while exploring the culture of the great mid-west!

Dr. Cote served in the capacity of multiple offices in both New Hampshire and Maine. Dr. Cote also served as the secretary for the Greater Concord Dental Society. Here in Maine, Dr. Cote served as President of the York County Dental Society for three years from 2017- 2020.
